Being in Florida for the holidays is not the same as what I remember as a kid. Winter always meant snow, holidays, cold days, and homemade scarf and mittens. I have spent more time here now as an adult, and now we have breezy beaches, teal water on a sunny day, and palm trees decorated with colored lights in the evening.
